Learning to drink Coffee
I’ve never really liked coffee, the normal type. Only espresso, in Italy. If it’s not in Italy, nor espresso – no thank you. But this changed. I and my boyfriend had recently started making coffee, from Italian dark roasted coffee beans, with milk. I even bought a milk whisk to have that fluffy milk foam that you get when buying a specialty coffee in a coffee shop.

Then one evening when our internet was down (it was being upgraded. and yes, it was terrible to be “offline”!!) we were reading a shopping catalog for the upcoming crazy sales of one of the department stores nearby and saw that they were selling a Nespresso U machine with milk foamer for a very affordable price. We had to get it.
The next day we went to the shop, straight to the 5th floor and we saw a biiiig pile of Nespresso U machines…but only one combined with the milk foamer. Grabbed it. And then discovered that it was the last one!! We were so lucky.
That weekend my stomach was telling me that I do things in excess. I HAD to try all the coffees that came with it as a sample. So no sleep due to excess caffeine. But I was happy. We tried 8 espressos between the 2 of us in 2 days. Very nice espressos! And so easy (maybe too easy)!
